Year 9 Cubist Photography Work
( if you miss the lesson for any reason you should still complete both classwork and homework)
Lesson 1 of 2
Classwork : One half of the class will spend the next 2 lessons producing a Cubist style portrait using some of the advanced cropping features on PowerPoint.
Students watch the ‘Cubist PowerPoint Portrait’ video below and start the Cubist style portrait. The template ‘A4 PowerPoint Template’ can be seen below the video to download. Students should aim to produce up to 20 fragmented sections in class this lesson, and then an additional 20 sections for homework.
Students can use either the front or profile view photograph of themselves. They might even choose to use a combination of both views.
NOTE: Students should use the desktop version of PowerPoint not the online Office365 PowerPoint.
